I'll accept whatever the final settlement is agreed upon. My DSL service was very,very slow. I'm sure they did the "slow" process in order for the customer to order a high price internet service. I think most of them do.

when i first got att dsl it was great;now i have to wait forever to get on line;then in the middle of my program;it will cut off and a notice will appear;stating;i am not connected to the internet then i have to rebute;and as soon as i am on again it does the same thing i have tried and tried to get intouch with att to no avail.

I've been with AT&T a very long time. I requested the DSL when they first started up.It wasn't a very fst speed. I would call and complain but they constantly told me it was working properly. Then, I requested the Xtreme DSL and I can turn my computer at 8:00a.m. on a Monday and it may come up by Tuesday evening and not for long like another customer mentioned. The service is Xtremely bad and the ones that pay 14.99 or 19.99 is very lucky because my bill is 37.99! Also the ones that are not interested don't be arrogant towards the ones that have had problems. I'm sure at some point in your life in some other area you too have been dissatisfied with a service that you have paid for. I have submitted both claims because I stated with one service that did not perform and the reps suggested that an upgrade which did not perform would help my situation. To have a computer and cannot access the internet quickly is a bigproblem for all that are involved. Also, click on the link within the article to complete a claim form and don't place your ful SS# . Lastly, I also agree with the customer who said look at the other charges on your bill. They are

This DSL was horrible I had numerous problems I ended my service and received excess charges for leaving service a six month verbal agreement that they expected me to abide by when the service was lacking

My high speed internet service with att & t is slower than my dial up service with CenturyTel, which is no longer available to me since I've moved. Not only is it slow, my computer freezes up and generally gives me unsatisfactory service. I took it in to Milwaukee PC to be fixed thinking I had a virus and was told it worked fine at their store, that my problem was with my internet connection. That cost me $50.00. Thanks att& t.

Posting ur SS# is CRAZY!! But I did get Paid form the townshomessettlement a couple of years ago against transunion.... Read the reviews called the number and it was real I got 4-6 months free credit monitoring... I suggest checking out the lawyers creditials at least on google.....

Yes, I agree with all these reports. Higher pay and less speed. I think it's pretty bad when ATT service man comes out and tells you where you live you won't get anymore than 3.0, but you pay for 6.0. I said then why did they say I would get more for my extra money? He said that's how they make their money. THERE ARE JUST TOO MANY CRROKS IN THIS WORLD. Just like TXU new meters--more pay for things you have used for yrs all of a sudden you pay more for same thing. Us peons don't realize it till it's too late. From almost day one with D S L, I told my wife that there was no difference in speed of D S L than before hook up.

I have been using DSL over two years and have often complained about the speed not being what I am paying for. Also as recently as the past few months discuseed matter with tech person. Please include me in settlement. I deserve more for my faithfulness as a customer.
I called serveal times that the D S L does not work. I have ben charged for the past three months, but know results they say that they were comming by to correct the problem but never do..
We have never had the D S L to run at the correct speed and when I had internet with another company that never happened, we switched because the price was better and a year or so later AT&T was higher but we didn't want to keep switching from one company to another.
Why in the world are people posting their SSN and full names on here? smh. This lawsuit has been going on for a while and I've included myself in it at the beginning of 2010. AT&T sent everyone a notice in the mail about it but, most people probably disregarded it and chalked it up as junk mail. (Which is what they wanted anyway). If your a DSL customer then you've noticed that your bill has gone up $2.50-$3 per month. Which is the amount that you would be compensated for if AT&T loses this case. AT&T will not be losing money over this lawsuit and I think that another lawsuit should ensue because they have been compensating and preparing for a lost case by charging their customers more money for the same exact service. I sent in my claim form, back in June and have heard nothing yet!! What is going on? You call the towfree number and get no up dates and cant find any on here!! You need to post what is going on with this lawsuit! Maybe there will be another lawsuit about this soon.

What is the status of this lawsuit? No updates since June 1, 2010 as posted on the settlement page. I really think they should keep us better informed as to what's going on.

This case have been on hold for over a year meanwhile att have spent billions taking over cell phone companies and cant give the customers that they have taken advantage of.
I see that they denied an appeal. I read the thing and it looks like maybe the lawyers and their interests might have "madeoff" with our settlement money! There seemed to be an appeal denied against the lawyers and their charities in regard to this. It's all legal jargon and I couldn't follow it without my eyeballs crossing, but I think they got all the money. I actually called this lawsuit a few years ago after we realized we weren't getting the speed they were promising for their high speed service so we switched to basic. Now it's a little better but the price went up to $30 a month. Used to be able to get a better rate, but they're being sticklers to new cutomers exclusively. Last class-action suit against AT&T years ago, netted me a calling card for long-distance. I never went out of town during the time frame, so it went unused, but I believe it was for $10.00. Whoopee!

THE DSL WITH A T & T WAS NEVER WHAT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE.ITS A BAD DEAL FROM BEGINNING TO END.
I had the highspeed DSL alone wt the Bundle supposely for 99.00 month all I was able to get out of the service was a 1500.00 AT&T bill with cont. popups from all over, and i never had any proper service after that. The fast action DSL was an embarressment from that day on....my service was on hold a solid year and spme before i decided to reconnect !
